The day have finally come. Everyone and their mama been looking forward to this weekend's opening premiere of Black Panther. My premiere date is here tonight. Although not the Saturday night I've expected. It doesn't matter, it'll take a lot more than snow flurries and cold weather to forfeit the evening. This is something I want to see. I'am not spending another lonely Saturday night in my crib watching old episodes of Blue Bloods. I realize, I'm for dolo this evening, half of my team have already seen Black Panther, earlier this week. I chose tonight because I figure the buzz will be going down about now. Who am I fooling? You don't know, how much publicity, promotion and social media trends, Black Panther achieved. It's been a longtime I seen a movie with such anticipation. A movie with this type of social media magnitude don't come by very often.
I made it here in time, along with the other Black Panther spectators/fans. Is it me, or was that the longest sneak preview presentation, you ever seen. I was like, come on already, show the film. That had to be about 25 minutes. Ain't no one, give a shit about Jurassic World, Mission Impossible, Antman & Waspman and SOLO. I didn't spend my $21.75 on tonight to know about what will be popping in a few months.
The feature presentation eventually started. The moment us black folks have been waiting for, lol. 👏👏👏👏 BLACK PANTHER! As you know like all, superhero movies there have to be an foundation. A beginning to how, T'challa became The Black Panther. It all began on the urban streets of Oakland, California 1992.
After, spending two hours inside the theatre. I know, I had a good time along with the other attendants stepping out the theatre with a look of satisfaction. I don't normally attend these type of events especially if it cost. Black Panther I had a very good feeling of the quality of the film. The film was done in great taste and good conscious towards the people.
The film itself is about Prince T'challa taking over for his father and becoming the new, King of Wakanda. I'm not really sure if this place really exist. We're suppose to believe its a little village in Africa. There is an possibly the information is accurate. That can only be verified with research.
This movie was crazy, so much was going on. The 3Dimension graphics didn't help much.
There are more to the film than just that. There are other plots to the film. I think, one of my favorite plots was when the Son of Prince N'Jobu solved the murder of his father's death and took over the panel as the new, King. The Son of Prince N'Jobu achieved this position in a fair battle against Black Panther for the seat. I believe, The General called it a "rightual combat".
I admit, the Son of Prince N'Jobu intentions to reign as the new King of Wakanda weren't in the right place. The Son of Prince N'Jobu had plans for a new Wakanda. He felt more as a dictator and less as a king. The Son of Prince N'Jobu plans were to conquer the modern society with a special nuclear weapon called, vibranium.
Vibranium, this was something original. It seems Wakanda is known for vibranium. This was pretty much the purpose of the Son of Prince N'Jobu overthrowing Black Panther and seizing his emperor, just to get a hold of the vibrainium weapon. Vibranium, another thing possibly made up for the film but you know the drill. You aren't going to find out the truth if you don't do any research.
The time eventually came for the Son of Prince N'Jobu to be dethroned. This was probably the best part of film, seeing Black Panther take down the Son of Prince N'Jobu and regain his kingdom. To quote, the Son of Prince N'Jobu "Death Is Better Than Bondage!" 👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍BLACK PANTHER!
I just want to sit back and go over some of favorite parts of Black Panther. I like the beginning of the film in Oakland with the kids in the playground shooting hoops over a milkcrate while listening to Too Short. I like the staged robbery scene in the Art Gallery with the Son of Prince N'Jobu and Ulysses Klaue. Ulysses Klaue, I liked his character. I especially like the scene when Ulysses Klaue made it rain inside the casino. All that money, totally awesome wish I was there 😔. Ulysses Klaue, he was good in this film. I really thought he was going to be the major nemesis of the film. I didn't have a problem with the Son of Prince N'Jobu turning on Ulysses Klaue to get rid of him. I just wish, Ulysses Klaue stayed around a little longer in a few more scenes. This was a scene I loved the car chase that was so funny (lmao) how the bodies of cars they were driving kept disappearing. You know what else was funnier than that the calling of those electronic rhinos, lmao. Oh man, classic! There wasn't anything tonight's movie didn't have. Black Panther bought you dope film production, graphics and artwork with 3dimensional images and to top it off, a superhero film with an all African-American cast. Now, that's the icing on the cake.... "BLACK PANTHER!" 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
