Rusty Jabbz Newsletter February 2024 Issue #03 "AEW REVOLUTION"

I've been an wrestling enthusiast for the past 40 years. Growing up I never got the chance to witness many of Sting's matches.
For the past, 20 years I did get an opportunity to become a Sting fan and enjoy alot of his matches. Whether those matches took place in TNA, WWE or currently AEW. Sting is Sting, wherever he performs. He's an awesome wrestler. A great mentor and a great role model for the children and the young wrestlers entering professional wrestling.

Sting aka Steve Boden have been wrestling professionally since 1985. Thirty nine years later, Sting decides to say goodbye to the sport he loved. The sport that made him a Icon.
Everyone who is a AEW fan or a true professional wrestling fan will get a chance to witness, Sting's last match at AEW Revolution in Greenboro, North Carolina. It was three years ago when Sting made his debut onto AEW at Revolution 2021.
Sting have plans to go out, the same way he  came in.
Over the years, I couldn't sit here and recall all of Sting's matches. Sting has a plethora of matches. I have been so fortunate the last three years to witness some of Sting's greatest matches. Sting and Darby Allin"s greatest matches.
Oh yeah, let's talk about Darby Allin. You can not talk about Sting without talking about Darby Allin. Darby Allin, skinny stringbean skateboarder with face paint on his face. Darby Allin, a young Sting in the making. I'm not going to lie to anyone. I wasn't a big fan of Darby Allin.

This goes back to what I mentioned earlier, Sting is a great role model and mentor. Sting and Darby have been together like Batman and Robin. Sting, a man in his sixties taking on competition thirty years younger than him. I know, Sting and Darby Allin took alot of beatings and sneak attacks but they always manage to get up and dust themselves off. And, next week they would return on AEW.

I'm sitting here thinking, What was my favorite match by Sting and Darby Allin? Most definitely, the recent match Sting and Darby Allin becoming AEW Tag Team Champions, ending Ricky Starks and Big Bill title reign.
There were others, Sting and Darby Allin defeating Konosuke Takeshita & Powerhouse Hobbs at AEW Homecoming.
I have another one of my, Sting and Darby Allin's favorite matches. This match featured CM Punk. When CM Punk was totally cool back in AEW. It was a street fight against MJF and FTR.

Sting have made alot of history over the years with every brand, he performed in.
Sting's last performance I want it to be more historical, as Sting and Darby Allin take out The Youngbucks. Sting and Darby Allin seeking revenge for what occurred on AEW a couple of weeks ago. The Youngbucks attacking Sting, Darby Allin and Sting's Sons (Garrett & Steve Jr) in the ring. Matt and Nick walking around on  AEW for the past weeks in white suits with the blood of Sting and Darby Allin smeared onto the suits.

Sting's last performance must be more than historical. It must be "EPIC!"
