RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER MAY 2016 ISSUE #04 "MURDER INC!"

Mysteries of the Mob's most deadly Hit Squad:
I never committed a murder in my life. I have my evening set up and planned. Looking forward to tonight's book signing and author talk hosted by Christian Cipollini taking place at the Grand Army Plaza library. Where going back, Brooklyn 96 years ago in the days of the Mob life and the real, Brownsville "Never Ran, Never Will!".

This is very interesting, we have with us a mob nerd, lol. Christian Cipollini, the author is here with us for the evening to discuss the lifestyle's of the early mob culture. Some of y'all people out there are probably thinking that Murder Inc was that cornball record label and group formed out of Flushing, Queens.
After hearing what, Christian Cipollini had to say for the evening. The name, "Murder Inc" is deeper and whole much more weight than some phony rappers coming out of Queens.

Tonight's author talk taught me alot. It put me and my media in another perspective. It isn't often you'll find me in a library these days, other than computer surfing and email cleaning. When was the last time anyone known me for checking out a book at the library. I won't tell anyone  when, don't need to give away my age, lol. However, today was something different.

I was really fascinated about tonight. I have an interest in mob culture, gang life, thug life you name it from the Goodfellas to Empire. I always had that fascination with crime drama.

I'm going to be honest, Jews weren't my biggest fan of people. There are a few African Americans who can agree with me. No one ever liked the lifestyle of today's modern Jews. However, after this evenings author talk, I can perhaps look at them in a whole other light. I never thought that Jewish people had the heart to live this mob life, let alone move dope through the community. Dope was something that have been moving since 1923.

The Murder Inc, era started in the section of Brownsville/ Oceanhill. Oceanhill is the 90s section of Brownsville going among East New York  Avenue. Its cartel consisted of Italians and Jewish mob bosses and killers. Murder Inc started in 1931, reigning for about 9 years (1940) from Brownsville to Los Angeles. You talk about a, Cartel built on "MONEY" "POWER" "RESPECT". It was 10 years and no one figured out the killings that were taking place. They manage to pull everything off in such a lengthy amount of time. A lot of thank you's to the lawyers and police in their defense. It wasn't until there was a new political figure, District Attorney Burton B. Turkus and assistant Solomon Klien who stepped into office. This was around 1941.

Despite all this love and money making among each other. There was one person who didn't believe in doing business with Jews or even, African Americans. Charles "Lucky" Luciano, he considered himself old school. In April 1931, he killed off one of the Mob bosses and formed his own hit squad alliance.
Murder Inc mafia wasn't a mafia only set for the males. There happen to be women involved with the mafia family. Some would probably say the females were equal in craziness just like the males. One gangster female in particular, Evelyn "The Kiss of Death Girl" Middleman, lol. OMG with a name like that, its pretty self-explanatory.

It wasn't until the 1940's when the Murder Inc mafia started to take its demise. Beginning from February 1940 to April 1940. It didn't closed down immediately, it took sometime to do so. There were a lot of cases and arrest to attend too. The official decline of the Murder Inc happened in 1944.

This evening was so awesome. I really enjoyed tonight's gathering. I can not wait to get my hands on the book. I would like to thank the Grand Army Plaza library for this evening's affair and thank you to the author, Christian Cipollini.
