RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER FEBRUARY 2012 ISSUE # 03
FAMILY WRESTLING ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS "NO LIMITS" LIVE AT CHURCH OF ST. PAUL THE APOSTLE 405 Nineth Avenue & West 59th Street New York, N.Y.
See the lord knows, the lord knows how to get Dj Handspin Dinero to go to church... it's easy. Try placing 2 of the finest wrestling divas in a main event match, this evening at Church of St. Paul The Apostle and I'm there. Church of St. Paul The Apostle much cooler than the St. Paul's United Methodist Church, I was baptized in. Why couldn't my old church do things like this. It would be totally awesome, plus I'll attend more often. Anyway, Family Wrestling Entertainment, lol isn't it ironic. Who owns this organization, The Mc Mahons, lol... Wait that's not funny.
I received this post in the beginning of the week about tonight's wrestling event. This is my first time here. Sure does bring back memories of the days of the Queens Elks Lodge. The Friday nights afterwork attending, Impact Championship Wrestling. Probably the only thing that made working for the city, enjoyable. I miss them days, I want to thank the lord for bringing back the memories and in his own house, that's two for two.
I took over 50 pictures of tonight's event trying to capture the best wrestling celebrities of this league. Tonight's line up and main event as follows.... Brook Tessmacher verses Winter, The Midnight Sensations verses Azriel & Bandito, Damien Darling verses Jay Lethal for the Tri-borough Championship, Malta The Dreamer verses Big Daddy V "Tables Match", Winter verses Maria for the first ever FWE Women's Championship, Charlie Haas verses Tommy Dreamer for the FWE World Championship and plenty more action on the card.
MATCHES:
01. Brook Tessmacher verses Winter
"Qualifying match for FWE first ever women's championship"
First match of the evening, a women's match scheduled to take place between Brook Tessmacher and Winter. This is to determine who will qualify to participate in FWE's first ever women's championship. A sub-main event that will be taking place later on in the evening. Winter capturing the first victory into this FWE Women's title tournament. Seeing, Winter last night live in person in the middle of the ring for the first time. I got a totally different vibe from her than I normally get from watching, Impact Wrestling. She still carried her heel persona but it was something extremely different. She weren't your average female heel, you can sense that from the love coming from the audience.
02. The Midnight Sensations (Sam Shields & Chris Rockwell) verses Azriel & Bandito Jr.
This bout is a bout, of tag team men I'm unfamiliar with. However, they pulled off an excellent match. Despite the arrogance and cockiness coming from the mouths of The Midnight Sensations. They were the first to enter the ring, of course every heel needs to enter first so they can bore you too death with trash talk. Even though I'm unfamiliar in this match. Who's a heel and who's a face? You get the idea, you'll hear the insults and constant fowl language coming from the audience. If that wasn't enough, the fowl language only increased once The Midnight Sensations defeated Azriel and Bandito. The defeat left a mark in the Midnight Sensations' opponents, both men Azriel and Bandito playing the blame game onto one another.
03. Jesse "Mr Pectacular" Godderz verses Jay Santana
Next up, to the ring in purple tights looking like a Ghetto Barney aka Chris Masters on steroids... This guy was the most arrogant son of a bitch, of son of a bitches. He takes the cake. He's in the ring bragging on how good, he looks and how well he eats. There's also the non-stop gloating about his pecks, I was like OMG, someone shoot him. It's just so unfortunate that Jay Santana couldn't get the job done. Ooooh, Mr Pectacular so big, sexy and healthy but yet you still need to win a match by using the ropes for leverage. "SCREW YOU!"
04. Tara aka Victoria verses Maria Kanellis
"Qualifying match for FWE first ever women's championship"
Y'all remember this song... (singing) "Here she comes again".... Professional wrestling will like to welcome back Maria. Maria, former WWE Diva and star of NBC's Apprentice. Also, today is Maria's birthday. That wasn't very nice Tara kicking Maria in the groin while you sing to her "Happy Birthday". I'm just so glad that Winter came out and stuck it to you. Which allowed, Maria to advance to tonight's main event for the FWE Women's Championship.
05. Wes Draven vs. Prodigy Mike Bennett vs. Firebird Jorge Santi vs. Matt Tavon
"Fatal Four Way Match"
I hate, Boston and I hate people that call themselves, Prodigy. The only Prodigy, I know is The Infamous one. Brutal fatal four way match but suckie finish by Mike Bennett.
06. Malta The Damager verses Big Daddy V
"FWE First ever Tables Match"
This was really awesome and not because I was seeing, Viscera again. This match was awesome because wow, I actually seen a table break in this match. There it was, right in front of my two eyes. Big Daddy V aka Viscera choke slamming Malta through a table. A table that was not previously cracked down the middle. He just held him up and down he went. Splitting the table in two. I guess, only certain parts of wrestling are phony.
07. Damien Darling verses Jay Lethal
"Tri-borough Championship Match"
This was one of my favorite matches of the night. Everyone put your hands together for my favorite and your favorite, African-American wrestler of the new millennium, Jay Lethal. Impact Wrestling's Randy Savage impersonator... Here this evening fighting for a "Tri-borough Championship". Tell me that isn't awesome, a Tri-borough championship.. c'mon man that's some realness right there. It's like a trophy or belt of achievement you would think New York City rappers, djs, graffiti artists anyone affiliated with the hip hop culture would endorse. That was the whole essence behind the belt. It's true essence came when Jay Lethal captured the title by pinning the current champion, Damien Darling. I would like to thank the audience those "Let's Go Lethal" chants really helped. Along with the "Lethal Sucks" chants. It must have sparked some motivation. A man can only take but so much ridicule.
08. Diamond Inc (Jason Gotti & Joey Ace) verses The Adrenaline Express (VSK & EJ Risk)
Another splendid tag team match between Diamond Inc and VSK and EJ Risk... VSK and EJ Risk, I remember this duo from ICW as one of the dominating tag teams. Despite VSK's Tyson Kidd lookalike image. They still pulled off an excellent victory over the Diamond Inc.
09. Winter verses Maria Kanellis
"FWE First ever Women's championship match"
Okay, everyone the time has come. The match of the night even though its not the main event. It's still the sub-main event and the reason why half of this church is filled. If it wasn't for that facebook posting this week I would have never known about tonight's event nor this wrestling organization. The match may have been a no brainer. You kind of expected Maria to capture the win tonight and become the first ever FWE Women's champion. It could be a number of reasons why, Maria got tonight's gold. Perhaps a birthday present. Perhaps a gift to welcome her return back into professional wrestling. Or, perhaps the interference from Brook Tessmacher with the referee and the assault on Winter by Tara. A little payback for Winter's assault on Tara, earlier during her match costing her title shot. Whatever the case maybe I'm glad she finally won a women's wrestling championship... with no help from Vincent Kennedy Mc Muffin. A very celebratory finish that match was. The highlight of the evening. CONGRATULATIONS MARIA!!!
10. Charlie Haas verses Tommy Dreamer
"FWE World Heavyweight Title match"
This match was awesome. It exhume the true meaning of old school wrestling, hardcore wrestling. Any match with the "entertainer of hardcore", Tommy Dreamer is going to be an exciting match that's money well spent. The only thing that probably wouldn't be money well spent if FWE had went along with Dreamer's original opponent "Mr Fist Bump" Robbie E. I'm glad, he wasn't the opponent for Tommy Dreamer. I wasn't sure if I would have been happy if this guy was the opponent, FWE World Heavy Weight Champion Charlie Haas. I was shocked as hell to see, Charlie Haas as a champion. I'm not saying, Charlie Haas is bad wrestler I just never thought he would ever be heavy weight material. See another wrestler, Vincent Kennedy Mc Muffin didn't believe in. The highlights of this match other than Tommy Dreamer defeating Charlie Haas. The constant fan interaction and hazing towards Haas, he didn't take kindly to angry words from the audience. On several occasions, Haas left the ring to get up in the face's of several fans. Whether it be an elderly man or an obese teenager. The highlight of that was when Charlie Haas spat from the ring onto the obese teenager. Who goes by the name, El Gordito you can look him up on myspace. The highlight for me, was attempting to take a steel chair to Charlie Haas until being stopped by security. This is what I'm talking about. This real wrestling, real action. Non-stop action, no storylines, no entertainment, no celebrity guest appearances just pure natural HARDCORE WRESTLING!!! The only downfall to this match was at the very end. Everyone in the audience was so excited and ecstatic over Tommy Dreamer's victory. We all thought he became the new FWE World Heavy Weight Champion. Even, Tommy Dreamer thought so until Charlie Haas got all up in Dreamer's face. Haas needed to correct Tommy Dreamer by pinpointing that this match, we just had was not for the title. Charlie Haas kicked Tommy Dreamer in the nuts and spat on him, then took back his World Title. The audience was in disarray over Charlie Haas's actions. I wasn't though its the same ol' story from one wrestling organization to another "TOMMY DREAMER, THE MAN WHOSE KNOWN FOR GETTING SCREWED!!!"
Despite the faulty main event of tonight's event. I had an outstanding time. I'm glad I got to see this new wrestling organization in action. I'm definitely going to take an interests in upcoming shows.
The hardcore wrestling of this organization will continue next month, March 24, 2012 with Rosita returning to FWE
