RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER FEBRUARY 2014 ISSUE #01 "BLACK HISTORY MONTH FIRST RELEASE!"

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER PROUDLY PRESENTS ONE OF THE FIRST REVIEWS TO THE UPCOMING MOVIE PREMIERE OF "300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE!" Today is going to be a good day. Starting out with my gap in the week from The Gap. Lol, just a little humor. Its okay if you don't think it was funny. Anyway, I have a brief one day off tomorrow. It's an excellent day to look forward into tonight's movie screening, "300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE!!" I would like to thank my brethren, Sha-King for the information on tonight's screening. Good looking out fam, you always know what's the best films to see. I would, also like to thank, Fears magazine for there confirmation to tonight's screening. I have no idea, what I'm install for. I do, realize that Fears magazine is a magazine of Sci-Fi. I know, what to expect. I'm not a big fan of Sci-Fi. What really struck my interests in tonight's screening other than it being Sci-Fi. It happen to be in "3D". A 3D movie is something I don't wan't to turn down. I can't remember, the last time I seen a 3D movie. The last time, I ever seen a 3D movie was back in 1982, I believe. Wow, 32 years ago and that movie happen to be, "The Creature of the Black Lagoon". Which was made 60 years ago (1954). Today, we are in 2014 gathered here at AMC Loews Times Square, New York. We are all here getting ready to visit that 3rd dimension.
Alright, it wasn't what I expected. The so call 3D movie happen to be only for 13 minutes. A brief video promotion that was put together by Warner Bros and IMAX showcasing the upcoming film in 3rd dimension. This is what to look forward to come, March 7, 2014. Although, the whole screening of the movie wasn't played in 3D. Everyone still got the opportunity to utilize the 3D glasses. Unfortunately, we had to return them at the end of the screening, that SUCKED!!! I wasn't too upset. I'm kind of thrilled that they didn't continue the entire screening in 3D. To be honest with you, 3D can be scary. Everything looks so real. They actually do seem as if they're coming towards you. Another thing, I don't think that was an wise decision taking a chance on having all these swords and spheres and shields waving towards my face in 3 dimension. Considering I'm an epileptic. You know what they say about us, and sitting too close to the television set. I don't think watching a film in 3D, helps either. I do notice, some people leaving the theater. Gee, I wonder why? I bet its because there disappointed about not seeing the screening in 3D.
"300 RISE OF AN EMPIRE", debuts in theaters everywhere starting March 07, 2014. "300" happens to be the sequel to the original that debuted back in 2007. You know, I can't believe that its been seven years. I've heard many things about this film. All of it, mainly good things. Lol!, funny thing considering the amount of DVDs I have under my collection. I wouldn't be surprised if, "300" happens to be one of those unseen DVDs of mine. I know, I shouldn't be laughing but I can't help it. Sometimes I deserve to laugh at myself. Especially when I do something foolish.
The movie have officially started now. No disrespect, why am I hearing a lot of talking over the film. I hope, I don't get the wrong impression of a documentary. It turns out to be narration. This will be something taking place during certain portions of the movie. I want everyone to bare with me. As I mentioned moments ago, this is my first time watching the "300" series. I don't have much knowledge of the cast members and storyline. I'll do my best to follow along. I'am a great learner.
The movie, "300" has an Greek/ Roman premise. It gives off that biblical scenery. It remind me of the, "Ten Commandments". Speaking of Jesus Christ, if anyone does give off the imagery of Christ it happen to be this man, the star of the show "Leonidas". Leonidas, the Sparta King and General of the 300. Don't get me wrong, this film had its moments but the movie give off a good vibe. What I loved about the film was its concept and purpose. The film mainly spoke about the key word, FREEDOM! Watching this screening bought back memories to movies such as "Malcolm X", "Do The Right Thing", "School Daze", "Westside Stories" and "The Warriors". You know any movie that had a powerful message. The Spartans were destined for freedom from The Persians. The Spartans were being held captive and underground as slaves along with there wives, children, parents and grandparents. Leonidas, he knows what needs to be done to bring them to justice. Leonidas, establishing a group of "warriors". Notice I typed, warriors instead of just saying soldiers. Trust me, when you see this movie you won't think they're just soldiers. In this film, there known as, "SPARTANS!" "SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT! SPARTANS NEVER SURRENDER!" With all this being said, Leonidas and the 300 were in destine pursuit to conquer, The Persia. The only thing stopping, Leonidas was the counsel. None as, "The Authority". Like I said, I never took the liberty to watch the first edition of the 300 premiere. I have no idea, what took place. I'am so happy for Leonidas, for defying The Authority and going forth with the battle. Ah man, I couldn't believe it. It was like watching a sporting event. This should be a sport. I'll love and respect this more than I do wrestling, I'm telling you that. This was some serious fighting. Which aloud them to dominate, The Immortals and The Persia. In return gaining back there freedom. It's ashame that so many of the 300 had to lose their lives including their leader (R.I.P. LEONIDAS). In honor of his legacy, you can now add... "SPARTANS MULTIPLE!" What was once a group of 300, formed to gain back there freedom. It has now expanded into a group of 10,000 that'll be a great sequel, too. My only downfall to the screening. I didn't like it too much. I'm talking about at the beginning. I mean seriously, a black king. You knew, he wasn't going to live that long. It's kind of like when your watching a horror movie. Who's usually the first one to die? Anyway don't let my one downfall of this movie change your attitude of this movie. It still gets 9.5 Jabbz from me. I think, March 7th I'm going to partake into the 3rd dimension. Good Night everyone hope you enjoy.

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER JANUARY 2014 ISSUE #01

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER JANUARY 2014 FIRST ISSUE OF THE YEAR
"GIMME SHELTER!!", LOL!!! After the day, today's New Yorker's and Tri-State area had, "Gimme Shelter" is more than just a movie screening. I would like to thank, Grace Hill Media for accepting me for tonight's movie screening of "Gimme Shelter". I'm here, right now live at the AMC Empire 25 theater in Times Square. It's a busy night going on, in here. To my understanding, there are seven other movie screenings scheduled to take place throughout the night in this theater. As well as, my last minute movie screening invite. I would like to thank, Cinemit for the rsvp to tonight's screening of "Lone Survivor" at AMC Loews Lincoln Square. I apologize for my not being there. Trust me, I would of love to have attend. Unfortunately, I have my heart set on tonight's screening "GIMME SHELTER" starring Vanessa Hudgens, Rosario Dawson, Brendan Fraser and James Earl Jones. Written and Produced by Ronald Krauss. I would like to thank, Grace Hill Media again for inviting me out here tonight. It was a deep pleasure, getting involved tonight. It's premise of the film made me, interested in what's scheduled to debut, January 24th at local and worldwide theaters. We all know, this story. Some of us, either lived and experienced it. Others may have various knowledge about it. Let's go back, 26 years in time. In my Junior High School days. Films like such were #1 on the after-school PBS networks. However, this may not be an PBS attempt. Whatever it is, I love the feeling it bought tonight. I should have known something was up, when I first rsvp. The whole idea of only reaching out to various churches and other religious organizations. That was something totally different, I never heard before being invited to a movie screening. It only amped up my curiousity towards "Gimme Shelter" even more. "Gimme Shelter", a film based on a true story. (The film, ironically happen to be named after, the 1970's Rolling Stones documentary.) It's about an, young girl fighting through her demons and in someway seeking redemption. Of course, she's seeking shelter that is what one person would think the basis of the movie is about, a young girl just running away from group home to group home. I found that there's more to it than just, shelter. The concept of "Gimme Shelter" is more like a metaphor to her lost life. Apple, being lost goes deeper than her physical being, its based more on from her inner-soul. The film stars, Vanessa Hudgens as Agnes "Apple" Bailey, (the pregnant runaway teenager.), Brendan Fraser, who plays Tom (the Wall Street Dad who had no choice but to abandon, Apple at birth when he was in his teens.), Rosario Dawson, who plays June (the die-hard, cutthroat, deadbeat mother of Apple.) and James Earl Jones who plays The Chaplaincy. "WHENEVER A CRAB TRIES TO ESCAPE A BARREL, THERE'S ALWAYS ANOTHER CRAB THERE TO PULL IT BACK DOWN!!! Starting off with the beginning of the screening, where we see Apple taking coverage inside of a telephone booth. She's looking for her way out of the system. She said, "She's tired of being passed off as, someone's case number." I just love the way, she handled everything in her own hands. Generally, sixteen year old teenagers do not have any respect for authority. Apple, however isn't your typical sixteen year old. She have a lot of load on her back. There are people out there, who are willing to help her but with attitude and temper. Apple fail to learn to co-operate every time. My favorite parts of the movie was when things started to look good for Apple. She finally found a home that has some positive radius spread around it. Once, Apple decided to occupy residency of "My Lady's of Sorrow". Things started to change for her. She was meeting and living with people that had a goal and/or vision in life. Even if it meant, bringing their babies along with them. My Lady's of Sorrow, a home for pregnant mothers but not your average pregnant mothers. This is a home for young women expecting newborns. Who have suffered abuse from assault to sexual to rape, different types of abuse. Apple, finally received some "HOPE!" that's sure to bring a difference in her attitude and maturity. It's another one, of my favorite scenes. The day, Apple finally delivered her baby and named it, "Hope". Hope, is something she's trying to obtain along with "MUTUAL RESPECT, TRUST & CONFIDENCE!!! I can sit here all day and express my feelings about tonight's event. I rather not say, too much. Remember, "GIMME SHELTER" debut everywhere, JANUARY 24, 2014"

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2013 ISSUE #01

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER PRESENTS THE L MAGAZINE PREVIEW OF, "HAUNTER" AT IFC CENTER TUESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2013 @ 6PM Can you imagine waking up, every morning to the greetings of "Lisa Johnson, Please meet us down in the secret key. We're going to spend all morning there." Well, I guess the greeting probably wouldn't make any sense if your name doesn't happen to be Lisa Johnson. This evening was a very interesting occasion of tonight's screening of "Haunter". I would like to thank, the L. Magazine for confirming my invitation to the IFC Center. This happen to be my first time appearing here at the IFC Center. There have been several times, where I been in the Village and I walked passed this theater and never did I acknowledge it. It wasn't until today, after being invited to this evening's screening. Tonight's movie is an exclusive preview of "Haunter". Which is kind of funny and odd to me. The reason, I found such an interests in booking a reservation for tonight. It reminds me, of these two current sitcoms I have an appeal for... Disney's Haunted Hathaways and ABC's The Goldbergs. Both, television sitcoms do not have anything in common with one another. It's only up to the viewers, there taste and opinion of the film. My taste and opinion of tonight's screening goes so deeply due to the fact that they created its production with an 1980's horror exploitation, appeal. Right now, we're in the middle of the new millennium. How many of my followers would love to join me on a trip, back into time. You're welcome to follow me, back 28 years to April 23, 1985. The film takes place in the middle of the nineteen 80's. Based on an incident involving, The Johnson Family. The movie opens up with, as I mentioned at the beginning with Lisa Johnson being interrupted during her sleep with this peculiar and strange greeting/ message, "Lisa Johnson, Please meet us down in the secret key. We're going to spend all morning." Throughout the movie, you'll hear multiple changes in the greetings. What makes it funny, is the amount of times, the scene keeps repeating and playing over and over again. While your watching this movie its going to seem like a comedy rather than a horror. Everyone in the theater, cracking up at times to the different scenes of amusement. But, that isn't what "Haunter" is all about. The Johnson family, who were killed in a car crash caused by the possessed father/ husband on April 23, 1985. Possessed by the previous home owner of this so call residence, Edgar Melons. It seems Edgar Melons grew up in the household that the Johnson's currently reside in. Edgar Melon have died in this home, in 1983. His spirit still resides there creating mischief to all intruders. However, it's deeper than just Edgar Melon scaring away, new housing residents. There is a secret and some things stored inside the house that he doesn't want discovered. Edgar Melon, sees to it and finds away to eliminate and seize the residence who dare reside inside his former home. The Johnson family, although they are dead. They were being held captive and didn't realize it. What ended up happening, Lisa discovered the whole matrix they gotten themselves involved in. It was up to Lisa to bring down Edgar Melons and save her family. I want to thank L magazine once again for tonight and thank you to IFC Center. As I mentioned, earlier I never gave myself the opportunity to come inside here before. I'm glad I got that opportunity tonight. This is a nice looking place, a little miniature for a theater. It's alright for me, I don't need the luxury of your typical theaters like Loews, AMC. I'm grateful for this. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CEO: Jason "Dj Handspin Dinero" Lamar Rusty Jabbz Entertainment Group Office: 1-347-789-4543 Cellular: 1-646-339-4981 Cellular: 1-347-902-5355 Email: djhandspindinero@yahoo.com Email: rustyjabbzblogazine@yahoo.com Social: www.twitter.com/djhandspin Social: www.linkedin.com/jasonlamar Social: www.myspace.com/djhandspindinero Social: www.instagram.com/jason_lamar007 Social: www.facebook.com/djhandspindinero Social: www.linkedin.com/djhandspindinero Site: www.rustyphotos.tumblr.com Site: www.queerazspin.blogspot.com Site: www.rustyjabbzentertainment.blogspot.com Vlog: www.vimeo.com/rustyjabbzvideo Vlog: www.youtube.com/worldwidejabbz
