"The GURU Preyer"
I SELF LORD AND MASTER..... what a tragedy to see one of your souljahz have been called home thru your pearly gates this morning. Lord alot of family, friends and fans were not pleased by the unjust news of Keith "Guru" Elam's cancer. You warned us lord several weeks ago of his sickness and we preyed for him and neva forgotten him. Sum times they say preyer isn't enuff. Preyer sum times soothe the mind, body and soul for ease. Preyer did help and kept him alive a few weeks longer than scheduled. What a sad day in the hip hop culture and industry today and forever. I thank you lord for blessing us with a man, emcee, artist and musician that graced our homes, schools, streets, clubs and anywhere the great GURU was loved, adored and appreciated for its talent. We admired Guru sharing his talent with such musical excellents like Dj Premier, Dj Solar, MC Solaar, Big Shug, Nice and Smooth, Jeru Da Damaja, Group Home, Freddie Foxxx, N' Dea Davenport, Branford Marsalis and the list just goes on. Go on with hit after hit, album after album. Thank you lord for The Guru's 22 years of greatness. Guru is no longer with us in the physical but he will live forever in our hearts and through his music. He left a legacy that will neva be broken and can not be broken. This I preyer to my I SELF LORD AND MASTER!
