D.J. J- Ronin's 7th Annual Birthday Bash With Cormega at Southpaw Wed., Nov. 3oth 2011

Is this really, how your supposed to treat media? Yesterday, I emailed Mr J-Ronin asking for a press pass and rsvp to his event. UH!!, apparently someone doesn't do rsvp. Complaining through my wifi waves about and I quote (taken from the original email reply), "peace brother. i spent a lot of money on this event about 2,000 bux or so. its only 15 bux to get in. i wold appreciate the support. ill make sure you get backstage to interview people. i got you with that"

I will pay the $15.00 admission but I' am going to hold J-Ronin to that. The whole promising to bring me backstage to meet some artists for interviews.

Back to what I was originally talking about earlier. The lack of disrespect directed towards us, media people. So What!, we are bloggers in the game. It has been said, we've became very instrumental at the start of the blogging phenomenon.

After, you get finish reading my blog you'll see just how phenomenal us bloggers can be.

When they say, Southpaw is near the Bergen St. station. I think, it was the Bergen St. station on the # 2 line they're referring too. Of course, I didn't oblige had I did I wouldn't have ended up, somewhere in Cobble Hill. Cobble Hill, Clinton Hill these trendy white people neighborhoods all look the same to me. It took me about a half an hour to find my way over to Southpaw. All this walking around in chilly weather, tonight's event better be worth it. I know, J its your born day bash but this party/ showcase better be worth my time and trouble.

I'm fucking starving, I need something to eat before I go inside. Ain't shit around here to eat. I could never, be a white person. I couldn't eat and live off the shit they eat. All these fuckin' eateries out here, this ain't food for black people. Although, there are the type of black folks that front like they like this shit. This ain't the hood, imma have to get on some hood shit. Imma hold myself down for the night with a hero.

Yeah, I know Your Favorite Writer's Favorite Writer, spazzing out just wanted to release my anger before this hip hop show begin. Before I enter, Southpaw for my dude J-Ronin's layaway birthday party... To anyone who didn't know, today is not J-Ronin's birthday. J-Ronin's, birthday passed back in September. Give it up to J-Ronin though for puttin' his birthday on layaway to celebrate with us tonight and bring this event together. There's a lot of fine talent in the house. Shout out to the All Elements Family: Sav Killz, Verse, Joe Columbo, Frank Knight.

Shout out to Illa Ghee, Rockness Monsta, Cormega.

Shout out to everyone else that came through and rocked, there were a slew of Brooklyn emcees in the house. Being here tonight made me feel proud to be a BROOKLYNITE!!!

The party got underway at 10:40pm, to be exact. I'm going to do something a lil' different that I don't normally do on Rusty Jabbz Issues. I'm going to run down the line of all the emcees/ groups who performed with us here tonight and add my lil' two cents in. I promise I won't say, anything nasty or offensive about them. Man y' all dudes know me, you know the Handspin can't hold his tongue.

Tonight's Line Up:

Verse: Our first act, to the stage Boogie Down Bronx, Verse... former Badboy recording artist, and ghostwriter for several artist in the past. Now one of, All Elements prized possessions. This brother, right here has that Hip Hop and RnB back n forth fusion thing going on within his music. If y' all remember, Nate Dogg and love Nate Dogg. I'm not really from the west coast but if y'all could do it. Make a "N" with your fingers and show some love. He's the father of that sing songy rap.

Joe Columbo: Lyricist and All Elements recording artists'... this dude was funny at first I apologize for laughing. I really did think that neckbrace was a publicity stunt. You gotta understand, watching wrestlers like Cody Rhodes on WWE Smackdown wearing protective face mask for an publicity stunt for several months. It was like I'm home watching wrestling, I seen the similarity. What happen to you during that dollar van accident doesn't take away from your talent. No matter, how many staples the surgeons place inside the back of your neck. Your still here and still standing.

Frank Knight: All Elements recording artists' he just kept it simple, short sweet for everyone with a freestyle.

Franchise Liaison: This was when the night started to change. Once this man and his team enter the stage. Rusty Jabbz put 10 jabbz together and let's show some love to Copkillin' Coney Island's Franchise Liaison... A new scary, black, ugly, muhfucka from Brooklyn. A combination of Biggie Smalls and Rick Ross... There's a lot of those combinations. Despite his disgraceful looks that doesn't take away from there awesome talent and stage performance. Thanks for that, "Pino" love that record.

8 Off Agallah: How many of my Rusty Jabbz readers, remember this kat right hur? Where y' all remember him from, as 8Off on "Ghetto Girl" East/ West-Elektra. Do y' all remember him, as Agallah one of the Dipset producers. I don' t know, there might be some first timers up in here. They may only know him as, Agallah the dude who was handing out the Hood Wraps up in here, earlier. A lot of Marijuana stenches in the air due to that.

Cool Hand Lukey: This dude, I don't know him. Never heard of him and not ashamed to admit it but any emcee that runs with the first family runs with the jabbz family... I say, that also on behalf of his KNOCKOUT performance, tonight.

Sav Killz: Lyricist and hardcore street hustler... I wanna talk for a few minutes about my man, Sav Killz. This dude, right hur is a hustle hard emcee, always on his grind. Most emceez I know are usually on their grind. But with Sav, its a whole another story between the internet, shows and oversees. There is no place you won't be able to go and not here the name, Sav Killz. I respect, sun for keeping his grind on. And, I respect J-Ronin for pushin' him to where he is trying be.

Illa Ghee: We all know, this brother. Heard his name through the cypher's of Mobb Deep. Which is good. Hearing though is not the same as seeing. It is so amazing, when you see an artist for the first time. Especially, after hearing the fire he layed on several past projects with prominent emcees in the game. Anyone can understand, where I' m coming from... tonight was my first night seeing Illa Ghee perform and I loved it. I just enjoyed every single minute of his performance. It really knocked me off my feet. I had to maintain my composure because I'm a professional. However, there is no law that states a professional writer such as myself can not be a "DICK RIDER". Which is something, I became once I heard Illa Ghee's performance. Believe me, dickriding is something you'll never catch, Dj Handspin doing but you must always remember and understand I'm a fan first before the business.

N. Y. B.: This is another, Brooklyn offspring N. Y. B. Another, group I'm unfamiliar with but that's okay, There's a lot of groups in here tonight, I'm unfamiliar with. It's safe to say I came here tonight mainly to see Cormega perform and to support my man, J-Ronin. With that being said, let's not take anything away from N. Y. B. I did enjoy they're performance along with this particular song being performed "Only God Could Judge Me". You know, songs like these set precedence within us. It's songs like that, which keeps the haters away and allows me to move forward.

Cormega: The man of the hour. Cormega, finally coming to the stage the man everyone came to see... its fucked up to say that, muh fuckaz gettin' ready to walk out the door if sun didn't finally come on stage. Cormega, coming on stage performing random classics from his library on top of the abuse towards, Dj J-Ronin. Dj J-Ronin, fucking up during his set. Let's run down, some of the material Cormega performed here tonight. I want to see, how many of my readers are thorough hip hop analyst or do y' all need to buy tonight's dvd produced by yours truly. What we got coming out the mouth of Queensbridge's finest' "Look At My Life", "How You Want It", "Affirmative Action", "We Wanna Kill You", were some classic Cormega bangers. This is my ultimate and all time favorite Cormega' record "Get Out My Way". Cormega gave us some, 2012 shit that was hot... we know what to expect from the God, next year. How many of my readers are haters? That's a fucked up question, I'm gonna ask. My man, Cormega got emotional on stage and dedicated a song to all the haters. So if your hater don't read me, don't follow me, don't like me. Don't even travel in my circle. The next song, I wanted 'Mega to end his set with was the song I've mentioned earlier my ultimate favorite "Get Out My Way". He did, however perform the song, lot's of love on that. But it would of been perfect as the finale to his set. Someone in the audience requested, "Testimony". He dedicated it to all the power black woman of the world that made an impact. There were a few other bangers, Cormega performed as well. His set was overall worth the wait.

Rockness Monsta: Rockness Monsta, the last man on the stage for the night... You could tell the brother is drunk. Drunk, high he's on something... But before, I start ragging on The Monsta. I want my Rusty Jabbz readers, to repeat after me. When I say, Heltah!... Y' all say, Skeltah! HELTAH..... (y' all muh' fuckaz ain't repeating it, fuck y' all)

Rock, spittin' a series of songs from one of his mixtape series "Monsta Madness".

Rock killed it over the 6 foot/ 7 foot beat, I thought Illa Ghee was goin' to join him. When I seen him come onto the stage but he didn't that would of been ill so to speak.

Rock, shut down his set early once the workers of Southpaw started turning on the lights. I don't know, exactly what that means. I guess when an artist and you're constantly on the road. Its some sort of sign that the club is about to close for the night.

Don't fret, we can catch Rock and plenty other uprising independent emcees in the game looking for that spotlight and chance to be heard at.....

What a night, tonight was? A night of pure classic urban street hop. Or, as my man Illa Ghee likes to call it "Angry Hip Hop" that's a fucking awesome name. Believe you, me if anyone reading this was up in here tonight and heard his performance. What better way to describe it.

I was up in here tonight so incognito, I didn't want to be notice too much. I wanted to come through set up shop and film this nice hip hop event. It's a definite, moneymaker on the Rusty Jabbz Merchandise shelf. Anyone out here doing, what I'm doing must really love hip hop. This isn't something too many people would do for free. Come out in the middle of the night to a nightclub performance to stand up and film a hip hop event for approximately 4 hours and 20 minutes. You gotta love hip hop, to do hip hop. Not too many people can tolerate the long standing, the aching backs and cramped fingers from holding the camera. In the end its all worth it.

I would like to apologize to my readers, I know there's not a lot of photographs as usual. Tonight I didn't take too many photographs. I wasn't Paparazzi Spin, tonight. My main focus was towards the video production. There's not even going to be any youtube footage. I'm sorry, this was a sick event. I can't' give this away for free. "In Celebration Of The New Studio Album From, Rediculus - Masters Of Conversation: Punchlines and Parables

Not the night I was expecting, see when your a blogger/ videographer you get no rest. I had a nice lonely night planned, just me and my dvr and some buttered popcorn. But plans were made several weeks ago to cover an event taken place tonight. I must honor that commitment. There's only one thing you need to know about Rusty Jabbz. We maybe in the habit of breaking artist's hearts and feelings but we don't break promises. I made an promise and I attend to keep it.

When I was offered the opportunity by this artist to film his shows and assist in the set up of his website, I was honored. I'm looking forward not only to enhance my company but to enhance someone else's career in the process. A sort of one hand washes the other, kind of pact.

I would like to thank, Shabaam Sahdeeq for giving me the first opportunity, in our arrangement tonight. I'm scheduled to meet, Shabaam Sahdeeq tonight live at Club Insomnia located in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. On tonight's roster other than, Shabaam Sahdeeq are the Brownbag Allstars and Rustee Juxx. Yes, I finally get to meet Rustee Juxx. After all these years, our names clashed with one another because of its similarities but tonight THE RUSTY JABBZ -N- THE RUSTEE JUXX shall meet.

Arrived at the venue with my homie, Sha. Soon as I stepped up to the door. The security all up in my grill, ice grilling like he knew me. Or, like I did something to that scarred up face of his. The guard had some nasty ass, jailhouse scar going across his face. I was saying, to myself "if he doesn't stop grilling me I'll give that scar on his face some company". Speaking of jail, security patting us down like we're going up north on the visiting floor. I can't remember the last time, I've been thoroughly searched to enter a nightclub. My last time was two decades ago, Club Speeed. Only in B. K., you get strip searched to enter a club.

Once, me and my homie got pass Homeland Security, lol. We found the Club, upstairs looking funny as hell. Funny for two reasons, the lack of people but that's not the funny part. Dj E. Holla on the wheels doin' his thing despite the amount of people because that's just how a dj does. The funny part and this is something I wanted to know but never bothered to ask. What was the significance with all the old school style bicycles hung up on the ceiling that and the mannequins. Who goes to a club with bicycles on the ceilings and mannequins on the stage?

Me and my homie, actually arrived late at least that's what we thought. I was supposed to be here at 7:30pm. We walked in around, 9pm the party wasn't underway as of yet. This is a bit of a downer to me. I'm looking around and only seeing a handfull of people. Shocked by the response normally a hip hop event is more lively than this. Especially with Shabaam Sahdeeq and Rustee Juxx on the roster. I wonder if its the area, don't tell me people still scared too come to Bed Stuy. I was just expecting a good turnout, this would have never happen at Southpaw.

The Show began to get underway at about 11:20pm when our, "host with the most from the east coast", D-Stroy took the microphone to the stage and began wheelin' in the crowd.

First up, to the stage... Rustee Juxx and he bought some surprise guest on. Which was his lil' man. I kind of figure that would be his lil' man. At first, I thought his lil' brother. Either, or I knew they were blood. That was an awesome act and some real shit. How many father's you know would let their children come onstage along side their daddy and curse in his performance. A hip hop performance at that. Fuck, fathers... how about the mothers. How many mother's y'all know would let their child go out with their daddy to a nightclub to perform onstage along with them and spit aggressive lyrics. This is what I'm talking about and what everyone been saying, "THAT'S HIP HOP!"

You could check for my man, Rustee Juxx... he got an album coming soon "HARD BODY HIP HOP" straight clean album, the god claim not to have drop one word of profanity on this album. Too bad I can't say the same thing for, you and your son though, here tonight.

Before, y' all go checking for Rustee Juxx album... check for some of tonight's single performances: "You Ain't Even In My Rearview", "Crown Heights Brooklyn Shit We On It" and "Who the fuck the rhyme better Rusty Juxx".

Oh yeah, if y' all going looking for these songs and your unable to find 'em it ain't my fault... I'm going by the hook of the song.

Next up was the man, I came to see. All my readers give it up to Shabaam Sahdeeq. Y'all better give up too. Come Monday morning I want some responses to this blog and his video performance from my youtube channel. Shabaam's performance was tight, I'll let y' all tell it and hit me back with your feedbacks and comments.

I just got to ask, what happen to the old, Shabaam Sahdeeq? This is a new, Shabaam Sahdeeq! That get money, Shabaam Sahdeeq! You hear the change in his style, he's gotten more street and hardcore. This is not that same dude that put out joints like "5 Star General", "Bubblin", "Never Say Never" that loaned a verse to Pharoahe Monch's "Simon Says Remix" among others. I'm not saying, Shabaam Sahdeeq does not appeal to me though it may seem as if. On the contrary, he still sounds nice plus developed an ill team added on to his cypher that performed with him here tonight.

Shabaam and his team went through a slew of songs just giving B. K. a taste of what he got lined up. My favorite joints that my dude performed here just now, I would have to say... "Freaky Flow" which was actually produced by Nick Wiz, who's currently up in here as I type, nuhmean. My next favorite joint I like from Shabaam Sahdeeq it was at least two of them. I don't even know, if this is the proper name of the song but its a song he did with his man, Gino. I think its titled, "Things ain't always what it seems". Then, there was another joint a collabo, Shabaam Sahdeeq did with his man, Eddie B. Where Eddie B, took the crowd back in time to the mid- nineties and got on some Das Efx/ Bone Thugs N Harmony type shit, you feel me. That was like the grand finale of the night and a great song to end with I must say.

As you can see, Shabaam, got some new flavas, coming before the closing of twenty 11 and coming throughout twenty 12:

The Great Adventures Of T. T. K. Art Show at Scratch Dj Academy

I would like to see why this person call tonight's gathering out here in Cooper Square, "The Great Adventures Of T. T. K." I for one would like to know, what is so great about it especially when you've taken the cover of Slick Rick's classic album "The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick" and photo shopped it for tonight's event flyer. What kind of an, adventure should I expect.

This evening will not be the first time coming in contact with T. T. K's art exhibitions. My first was quite sometime ago at an Skyzoo and Illmind autograph session at the Best Buy Union Square store. T. T. K. did the opening art exhibition then. I'm not going to say I was drawn to his artwork but impress with his unique appeal on how he creates. I'am not a big art lover but I know, talent and greatness when I see it.

Once again I'm impressed by T. T. K.'s work, his art tell a story in his own way. Strange thing I won't be able to tell you. I don't know, what goes on inside the head of T. T. K. When you see his paintings you'll have to draw your own conclusion. The only thing I can tell you, the brother has a fetish for G. I. Joe and Star Wars. My two favorite T. T. K. paintings were the ones with "Cobra Commander sitting on the hamburger" and the "Pregnant Stormtrooper". Totally hilarious there were others as you'll see throughout this blog but those two were my favorites and most funniest.

I never shown an interests in art until I've met T. T. K. Unless, your counting graffiti art. The same way our graffiti pioneers got ridiculed by so called professional artists and critics who claimed graffiti was not real art. You may have those same so called professional artists and critics come out and be little T. T. K's talent and artistry. They'll probably say things to him like, "This is no different than a school student doodling in his notebook".

T. T. K.'s art may seem silly but it amuses you that's what its there for, well at least to me. "IT'S ENTERTAINMENT ART!"

I'm definitely having a good time this evening. Maybe too much of an good time. If I eat anymore of these delicious cheesecakes, I'm going to bust. My love to the chef or the bakery y'all bought these from. I want to thank you, T. T. K for inviting me down here, this evening and allowing Rusty Jabbz Ent. to take pictures of your wonderful artwork. Thank you to the Scratch Dj Academy for providing the space to have such an wonderful event. The turnout was lovely, I know T. T. K. appreciates the support. To Cormega, for coming through tonight. Now that is something I didn't expect, to run into Cormega at an art show. I'm not trying to say Cormega can't come to an art show. I don't know, T. T. K. you and 'Mega y'all must be homies or something. I'm just kidding, fam that's all peace and love being able to have a hip hop celebrity attend your event.

I hope everyone enjoyed, T. T. K's art work posted on my blog just as much as I did. Scratch Dj Academy will be participating in another art show on December 10th by F.O.K.U.S.

B.E.T's Len's On Talent/ 106 & Park Artist Press Day/ Performance

Fifteen days, its been 15 days and I haven't released an November issue to Rusty Jabbz as of yet. What better way to begin the month off live at Smash Studios. Where all awaiting the arrival of Jebron. Chicago born n bred, but Atlanta's raised n reside sexual sensation stirring up the independent r n b charts and tickling the nappy dugouts of every female that caught on to his mandingo like flow.

The evening is an live media press day and showcase alert to the music industry. To let them know that the next neo soul icon is amongst us. I could have compared him to anyone but his voice and music is so lovely I'll leave it in the hands of my readers to decide.

We also have an special treat in the house with us tonight. The kid that's smarter than a six grader. Although with his lyrics and talent I think, he's smarter than most of us college students. Rusty Jabbz/ Worldwide Jabbz audience give it up for York, Pennsylvania's own Young Vishis. Thirteen year old, Young Vishis will be participating in tonight's media outlet. Young Vishis, who later will open up for Jebron when the showcase gets underway.

More celebrities will be in the house, this evening. Perhaps anyone reading this may know her. I didn't and this was embarrassing. Later, this evening we'll have Persia of VH1's White Rapper Show. You must forgive me for my lack of knowledge to VH1 and White Rappers. You can't never have enough white rappers. I thought, I heard them all. Especially during the days of djing for Mindspray, lol. You haven't seen a white rapper show, until you've attended a Mindspray Showcase. Now those were some white rappers.

They have a lot going on here tonight at Smash Studios. Inside studio 1, they're conducting auditions for a, B.E.T. 106 & Park Freestyle Fridays Show. So you have a lot of people here in the building, rappers and all. Great just what I need, more rappers in my life. As if I didn't have enough. Some of the people are here for Jebron's press n performance and the others are here for B.E.T's 106 & Park Freestyle Friday audition.

Speaking of B.E.T. and 106 & Park. Jebron is no stranger to the network having participated on Len's On Talent and performed his single, "Beautiful" live on 106 & Park.

Your in store for an wonderful night's event preferably the ladies. In fact I overheard, one female saying to another how Jebron's voice is so sexy she almost removed her panties. Would you have blamed her had she done something as such. Perhaps I would of too stated that same comment if I was of the female genetics.
