RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2012 ISSUE #02
RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER'S THE AFTERMATH OF SANDY: THE CONTINUATION
I did have plans today, to head into the city. I wanted to see the "Lady Lover" Cool J and his wife, Simone at Macy's. I understand, she has a new line of jewelry out on the market "S.I.S." I couldn't bother with it. Hurricane Sandy has this city in a rut. The whole concept of traveling down to Jay St-Borough Hall and boarding a bus. Just so people can take the bus going to the city over the bridge is a bit strenuous on a person's travels. Whether, I liked it or not I was stranded in BROOKLYN. Until, situations with M.T.A. and electricity were back to normal I was not going anywhere. I needed to find something to do today. This was a bit of a stretch. I got tired of everyone on facebook complaining about how they have no gas for their vehicle blah, blah, blah. I wanted to go out to Brighten Beach and Coney Island area and see for myself, how much damage Sandy bought to the east coast. I couldn't get no train service to Coney Island, do you believe that. I understand, the subway systems being screwed up going towards the lower east side as I mentioned in part one of this series. Apparently, Coney Island received some damage. Actually a lot of damage, there haven't been any "Q" and "B" train service all week. I have never taken a bus to Coney Island until today. I didn't go all the way to Coney Island. I went far enough to see debris and fallen trees. Don't mistake the photos of sand as hills of snow. Sand and hunched over trees everywhere. Piles and piles of debris everywhere, all over the beach. All kinds of items, just laying in the sand. I didn't know, where any of that stuff came from. Parts off of people's property flown and landed here on the beach in Brighten. At the looks of this, it seems the high-powered wind and its strength had the ability to sweep the sand off the beach and onto the boardwalk and most of the streets outside of the surrounding area. LOL, you know I can imagine the day, Sandy struck. In fact, I'm imagining it at all the other beaches and Zone A residences (Jones, Riis, Rockaway) throughout New York City, sand flying through the air at such a rapid speed smacking people in the face. Must have felt like "DESERT STORM" in New York. What I seen here this afternoon between Russians looting to piles of sand after sand mounted on top of one another along Ocean Parkway to debris on the beach and fallen trees in the park and on the sidewalks to the loss of gas, electricity and transit service. This is definitely, one week and one hurricane that the east coast will never forget. I don't know, much about meteorology but speaking on behalf of women. From what I'm seeing, this is a tragedy look like "Sandy was on her period, last weekend." Or, menustrating as they like to call it. I learned that a long time ago never mess with a girl on her period. Especially, mother nature that's the worst girl you can mess with. Sometimes, God can't even save us from her. You know the science.... "RAIN" "HAIL" "SNOW" AND "EARTHQUAKES"
This is Dj Handspin Dinero & The Rusty Jabbz Ent Crew and we would like to send our prayers of concern and condolence to the people who suffered and lost their loved ones as well as their property during Hurricane Sandy. My heart goes out to you. I pray that you will bounce back as soon as possible. In the meantime, don't give up the fight. I hope everything will soon be alright again. Keep your faith in Jesus, we all know through him things are possible. You'll get there with, Christ by your side in his name sake. Hallow be thy name, the lord Jesus will have your kingdom redone and everyone and they're families will dwell once again in happiness in the house of the lord... A-men!!

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2012 ISSUE #01
RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER'S THE AFTERMATH OF SANDY PART ONE
All I can, recall is a full moon and a horrible hurricane. Perhaps, one of the worst hurricanes known to hit the east coast since hurricane Gloria and hurricane Hugo. It came at a good time I guess, "HALLOWEEN!" Let's rename it "HORROR-CANE" because that is what many people experienced. Pure, horror at the hands of mother nature. You know, mother nature can be a bitch. It isn't wise to cross her. My heart goes out to the people who suffered at Hurricane Sandy's damage. Heavy rain and storm traveling at a sixty mile wind speed coming up from Virginia to New York in a twister creating damages to the homes along The Rockaways, The Jersey Shores, Long Island, Staten Island, Brighton Beach, Coney Island and various "Zone A" communities who were subject to damages as a result of Hurricane Sandy. New Yorkers were deprived M.T.A. service for a week. Along with electricity and gas. I myself was without electricity for only one day. It only lasted a few hours for me and my family. Just think about the people who had to live a whole week with no kind of utilities. Can you imagine not having gas and electricity for a week? Due to Hurricane Sandy, it triggered a power failure. Everything from the West and East 39th Streets and below going down to the Lower East Side was in total darkness. Con Edison was working hard all of last week to help to restore the power in Manhattan. MTA buses and trains were offering free services for the week. Anyone who needed transportation bus service into Manhattan needed to catch the buses among Jay St.-Metrotech Area to board for service into the city. As for driving, no one was allowed to drive in the city unless they had 3 or more people inside their vehicle. It's one thing when you have a terrible hurricane and its destroying a lot of homes, cars and taking away a lot of precious lives that were near and dear to you. You think its all over, once the hurricane stops but its never over. Next is the aftermath, no one ever thought Sandy's aftermath would be like this. Times like these you'll hear the constant plea. Like, "C'mon mother nature what are you doing to me. I just lost the roof off of my home because of you." "Seriously, mother nature a tree landed on my lawn because of you." It's the things like these we experience during a major hurricane. We think its enough but we're wrong when we find out we have to live without utilities and limited MTA service for week. I lost a lot of things last Tuesday (October 30th) but nothing compare to the residents of New York City, Long Island and New Jersey. The only thing I lost were my scheduled Tuesday night T.V. shows due to the blackout in my neighborhood. A blackout happened in my neighborhood, last week. Just 15 minutes into NCIS LA and then the lights go out. They were down from until 9:15pm-11:53pm. The whole neighborhood, pitch black from Nostrand Avenue to Brooklyn Avenue, Farragut Rd. to Avenue D. Everywhere pitch black except the ice cream store. LOL, the ice cream store is the only place in my neighborhood with light. Can you imagine, what would happen if they were to lose all of their light. They're ice cream would turn to sour milk. Therefore, I'am grateful for what I still have. My prayers of concern still goes out to the people who lost and never recovered after the carnage of Sandy. Anyone looking to show some concern and compassion towards the victims of Hurricane Sandy. You are welcome to make donations at the following...

RUSTY JABBZ NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 2012 ISSUE #08
AMP'ED UP A NOTCH PUMA STORE PARTY "OPEN BAR ON STOLI AND BLUE RIBBON" THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2012 7-10PM
I have no idea, what is the big deal with this whole amped up Puma store. Big WHUP!! so you remodeled one of your store locations. Must of finally put your 2012 tax return to good use. Is that a reason to throw a party? I swear people would celebrate anything these days. After the hectic day, I had of running around the city. I could use some of that open bar relaxation. I could careless about hearing the performances they have in store. This is my third night and third open bar for the week. You know, your becoming an alcoholic when you attend a event and someone recognizes you from a previous open bar, two nights ago. I should take that as a sign to cut back. Perhaps that was the message sent from God. When the security guard wouldn't let me walkaway from the Puma store premise without finishing my cup of Stoli. Maybe so, but he's still a "DICK" for taking away my can of blue ribbon. That one was given to me by the bartender and it was for later tonight. I was upset, I'm not going to trip over it too much. After all it is only Blue Ribbon. It's not like its Heineken. I would have fought for that. Other than running into my longtime, homie Jeff B the evening was alright. Later, that evening I did finally find "Miss Lily's Variety Shop". It's a down home, Jamaican style shop set up on West Houston St. & Sullivan St. They sell everything from coffee to fresh juices to patties to clothing to books to cassettes and 45s and little gift trinkets. There's even a cafe set up in the back. At times, Miss Lily is known as radiolily. Where they do live internet broadcasting. It's nice to see, Jamaica have advanced beyond the Barry U, Super Power, Jah Life & VP Records era. Rusty Jabbz give it up, one time for "MISS LILY! located at 130 West Houston St. & Sullivan St. West Greenwich Village, NYC
